This is a Molotov Cocktail, a famous makeshift weapon made with a bottle of alcohol and if you want a better effect, pour some oil too! To be precise, this weapon like Revenant's Missile Launcher or grenades is an item to be activated with equipment wheel - damage and splash area is huge, you can easily kill multiple smaller demons with it! Do not stay close to the impact, of course.
